This notice explains how HerbKnowledge uses cookies and similar technologies, including browser storage and scripts that access information on your device.
Your choices
You can Accept optional, Reject optional or Customise optional categories. Necessary storage remains active because it supports the site and remembers your privacy choice. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not record a consent choice.
You can change optional choices at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. Declining optional categories does not prevent you from reading HerbKnowledge articles, using the Herb Library or using site search.

The site may also use genuinely necessary WordPress or hosting storage for operation and security. If a previous version left a legacy cookieyes-consent cookie in your browser, the current privacy interface clears that specific cookie without reading or using its value.
Functional preferences
This category controls whether HerbKnowledge can remember an optional Shopping Country choice that you make. It is not used for analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking or a location history.

If you do not allow Functional preferences, you can still choose a Shopping Country for the current visit. The choice is not kept in browser storage. HerbKnowledge can also make a best-effort country-level selection for the current request using a local database on our server. This does not write a country-detection cookie or browser-storage item, store your raw IP address or retain an automatic country history. If the country cannot be determined, United States is used as the commercial fallback. That fallback is not stored as your country and is not a claim about your location.
Analytics
Analytics is optional and loads only after you allow the Analytics category. When allowed, HerbKnowledge uses the Google Analytics web stream G-K7M3DX9J9V to measure use of public pages. The browser storage observed for this service is listed below.

HerbKnowledge does not use Analytics to collect site-search terms, contact-form interactions, outbound-link destinations, affiliate destinations, Shopping Country, User-ID, user-provided data, advertising audiences or personalised advertising.
Advertising and affiliate technology
This category is currently unused for on-site scripts or storage. This release does not activate advertising pixels, affiliate tracking technology, link decoration, redirect identifiers, Awin, Sovrn or other commercial measurement technology. External links can take you to another website. The destination can use its own cookies and privacy practices after you leave HerbKnowledge.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to reopen the preference centre. You can switch optional categories on or off. Withdrawing Analytics consent stops later Analytics loading. HerbKnowledge clears known first-party Analytics storage where technically possible and reloads the page into the no-Google state.
